I currently have a Asus ROG X99 Rampage V Extreme. Although when it works its a great board. But then when it doesn't want to work its well S...
I have been plagued with the same problem ever since I bought it QCode 79. I found a way of getting round it. But every now and again then again it comes back and I have to go through the same routine again.
So what I'm looking for is a replacement. What's a good board to replace it?

My current build:
Asus Rog Asus Rampage V Extreme X99
i7-5820k
Kingston Predator 4 x 4gb PC4-24000C15 3000MHz
2 x Zotac GTX 980 TI "Artic Storm"
Creative ZxR
1 x Samsung 850 Pro 512, 1 x Samsung 850 Pro 1TB
Corsair AX1200i Digital
Phanteks Enthoo Primo
CPU and GPU's are cooled by a custom water Cooling loop. Comprising of 2 x 360 radiators.
This was built to play games.
I just have a mother board that is not stable, not even when there is no overclock.
I could have an operating deck top, re boot for whatever reason, then the id get the QCode 79 or 76.
As for budget as you can see I have not scrimped so it costs what it costs.

Would you ever increase your RAM amount? As the X99 SOC Champion is quite a good board with only 4 DIMM slots, but is made for overclocking

There's also stuff like the Gigabyte X99-Gaming 5P

Well after weighting up my options, I decided to RMA for testing the board I'm using and replace it with one of the same. Though newer (USB 3.1) hopefully without the problems that ive had.
As i said in my first post, its a great board when it works sadly for me not all the time.
