So, I'm not totally happy with this case. I have an issue with the HD bay vibrating and making horrible noises. Corsair have replaced this but it still happens. Can anyone recommend a good quality alternative?

What components will you be using? Any budget for the case at all? I can think of the Parvum S2.0 (bit more of a custom case), Air 240, BitFenix Aegis for example dependent on specs

The Parvum S2.0 I find especially a very nice looking case

What GTX 980? If you considered the Air 240 make sure you check the width of the graphics card as apparently some with bigger heatpipes won't fit in it!

Hey rob,

How important is the HDD cage to you, like how many HDDs do you use?

have you thought abount bunjee modding your drive bays to support your hard drives?

I mean, iv never had a single hard drive screwed into anything for around 5 years now, or more actually. I started off bunjee modding everything, even my televisions external USB hdd is suspended by some thick elastic like boxer shorts eleastic behind my tv so that it doesn't vibrate, even done the same inside my sky HD box, just to reduce noise of hard drives.

Though hard drives have got A lot lot lot better over the past few years, bunjee modding them makes them 100% silent.

And the 350D is one of the best cases there is available

Is it possible to remove the hdd bay and replace the drives with a ssd? Zero noise, improved boot and loading times....

Sorry Stulid, not sold by those either :(

Thanks though!

I have two SSDs, the mech drive is purely for dump stuff. Not sure if that mod would work with a full size drive@?

Well that's a shame, that's such a nice case. I have that case myself for almost 2 years now (with 2 x 1TB Blacks) and never had that vibrating issue.

Did you make sure that the HDD trays were properly railed in the cage slide?
