Replacing 360 fans with pc ones?

My 360 got red rings a while ago so i fixed it and made a big hole on top of the case, i added a 120mm fan above the cpu/gpu heatsink, the rear exhaust ones seem to be a bit smaller than normal 80mm pc fans, with a bit of cutting i can get some in but is it ok to wire them up to the same power connector?

The 120mm is attached to usb at the moment but i may wire that up to 12v, i want the rear fans quiet but with similar air flow, how do i make sure its both cool and quiet?

could you connect it to a zalman fan controller?

There is guides around for adding a molex connector in an xbox, could you add the molex connector, plug the fans into it using a 5v or 7v 'mod'
