I've been rocking my 3x DELL Ultra Sharps u2415 for a number of years now. They have been fantastic. I work from home 3/4 days a week, used to do a little website design, working on other systems, website, RDP sessions, gaming etc etc.
The resolution for the u2415 is 1920x1200.
Edit - I have a DELL 19" 1600x1200 (Vertical matching) Pictured on the left, for a VGA/Analog Monitor to test/build machines. It is part of this setup when previously using Nvidia Surround.
I bought my son a DELL S3423DWC on the black Friday sales for his Birthday a month back and ever since then been amazed at 1440p and the higher refresh rate! I think it's time to upgrade. Graphics card is also on the list - waiting for the 5 series from Nvidia.
I'm toying 1 one large ultrawide screen as I've nicked his for a day and found it usable, I will probably stick one or two of the current monitors in portrait mode.
Question is any suggestions to replace it with...
AW3423DWF (OLED burn-in and text clarity concern me here)
Despite being not a strictly productivity monitor, many people suggest they are coding 8/9 hours a day with it any no issues.
S3422DWG (Basically the same as my sons + 144hz instead of 100)
Looks decent, it's not 100% as clear as the IPS panels though?
U3425WE (What I have now, but Ultrawide and 120hz)
Concerns around gaming, reviews have response time is poor for gaming.
Any other suggestions? I've loved the DELL monitors, hence why all my considerations are as such!
