I'm not sure what my current side window is made of but the clarity isn't the best, under lighting it shows up a lot of fine scratches which must be from manufacturing. It's some form of perspex but not sure what.

If you were to make a new side window what would be the best thing to use, something that has very good clarity and doesn't show up blemishes, glass would be good but it's not easy to drill as their must be at least 8 holes that my current window has where its screwed down from the inside plus glass obviously adds weight.

I just use normal acrylic... Unless you move it a lot and rub against it a lot you shouldn't get scrayches/blemishes... And for less than a fiver a window it's not like it breaks the bank.
