Should work fine, the openreach modem will plug into the TP Link router similar to as you have now.

The TP Link routers are usually pretty decent, what is it you want over the Orange one?

well its getting old and the signal around the house isnt that good.. plus when/if i have more than 2 or more comps/tablets/phones etc doing things at the same time it starts to struggle (streaming, downloading, gaming etc ).. seems like the lack of bandwidth i am guessing?
( i get download rate from 35mg to 75mb)
