I currently have a Logitech G700S which I am looking to replace with a wired mouse this time round.

I tend to use a palm grip and whilst my hands aren't that big, I do find the G700s to be a good size for me, so am looking for something of a similar size, perhaps just a little smaller.

The left mouse button on my G700s sometimes doesn't respond and am becoming a little frustrated with the poor battery life, so want to go wired this time round.

Any thoughts for suitable replacements? Had been looking at the Ducky Secret as I love my Ducky keyboard, also been looking at the Logitech G403.

Thanks :D

Ducky Secret, G403 all decent choices. The Ducky probably will feel the most different. Myself, I'm not a fan of the G700S ergonomics BTW, and it's heavy.

G502 also worth a look. I'd also take a look at the Steelseries Rival 600.

The recent Logitech Gaming mouse (and keyboard) line up is really good. So I'd still recommend a G403 / G703 / G903 wireless. Works wired just as well.

I leave mine wired often when not gaming, and just unplug the charging cable for gaming. The cable is really securely fixed to the mouse, if you're worried about that.

Agreed, the recent Logitech mice are really solid - you can't go wrong with a G403, or stick with wireless and grab the 703.

If you fancied a change, you could try a Deathadder or Rival 310/600.

You know the G700S runs as a wired mouse when you plug it in? As in the wireless part is bypassed and it runs over the USB cable.

Yes, I do :) But I fancy a change and also the left button is becoming a bit troublesome. Fancy using this as an opportunity to go to a lighter, wired mouse and be done with the poor battery life.

Long time G700S user here, since the release day.
I also keep mine wired these days, although I can't say battery life has ever been disappointing either.

I had considered getting the newer G900, having used and really liked the one a friend bought.
Another I really liked the idea of was the Roccat Tyon, especially for all the buttons!

Lighter mice, are pretty good, I missed that when I went from my older Razers to Logitech.

I'm quite liking the swiftpoint mice, having the additional buttons in places I'm likely to use them is pretty awesome.
