Hi there.
I've just got a HP Envy 17" J053, it has awesome specs, 12gb ram, i7 Quad Core, a GT740M (not brilliant I know) and 1TB HDD.
However.. the screen....
Little did I know about this problem and that it even existed, "screen door", I'm finding it VERY distracting seeing all these lines over the screen, faint lines. I'm pretty sure this would be a good screen if it was not for that, colours are nice and everything is sharp apart from the visibility of the grid.
I thought perhaps it was an issue with the screen being faulty as it's a refurb, but not the case after googling it.
Now I paid £700, so I'm thinking, would I be able to look for a better screen for this laptop? Would it be hard to find a higher quality screen that would fit the laptop?
It's 17" and 1980 * 1080 pixels.
Could it be done?
