Howdy guys,
I've realised I need to change the break pads on the Seat, but I'm a bit stuck on what pads to buy. The makes that I have spotted so far are:
-Mintex
-Quinton
-TRW

But, as I'm somewhat clueless as to what is best for my beloved ride I need some advice. Are any of the aforementioned makes ok to buy, or should I go for something completely different?

I've also noticed that my discs are a bit rusty and are showing signs of wear & tear, so I'd also like to change those. Any recommendations on brake discs would be very much appreciated.

The car in question is a Seat Toledo 1.8 20V petrol from 1999.

Thanks you very much in advance :)

Give CRN a call, he used to sort me out for brake stuffs for the Leon Cupra R, great value, fast turnaround, and incredible service.

You'll most likely end up with EBC branded discs and either Mintex or EBC Ultimax pads, which will be more than adequate.

I tend to give everything a clean and lube anyway, saves having to pull it all apart again for the sake of a few minutes extra IMHO.

those things will need a proper scrub with a wire brush to get all the rubbish off, ive not come across a car so far with that having been done, even the S4 and that allegedly had full dealer history

Sweet cheers for the heads up, will def be picking up the necessary things before I go ahead with it.
