Replacing CF 5870 with...

I want to move to a Geforce based card as an upgrade, I might go SLI, im thinking of a GTX 670 SLI setup, however im questioning the timing as there may well be new cards coming out shortly that i should hold back on and upgrade when a new card comes, I will also be looking at upgrading CPU when Haswell comes out.

Anyone have any advice or opinion?

Im looking at going to 2 x 24" monitors at some point but right now im 1920x1200 resolution, i was thinking 2 x GTX670 2GB cards that should be enough to drive that

Yeah thats the idea, single monitor for gaming and one for desktop etc etc, think it would be better going for a single 680?

it does indeed, more money for other components, i can always add a second card later on if it starts to slow down.
