Hi
Recently my motherboard died because im a fool and somehow managed to bend some pins on it. Its a S775 sadly out of warranty by a few months but im thinking it *may* still be repairable.
Does anyone know if the Socket can be replaced? I presume its going to be an Asus thing only as it's their board, and if so has anyone got a scooby do at a rough cost if i sent it back out of the warranty for repair?
Or am i just ******* in the wind and i might as well ditch it because the cost of repairing is stupidly high?
