replacing cpu

hi i have a toshiba satellite pro l300. i have been wanting to upgrade the cpu but it is soldered or glued on. if i were to take this of would i be able to replace it with a better cpu and if so how would i do this and what problems may i face??

would it then be more worthwhile getting a new motherboard and new mobile cpu or ???

how would i know if it was soldered on?? is there any obvious features that tell me??

yeah i have upgraded it to 500 gb hd and 3 gb ram already thats why i want the cpu upgraded. its her turn.
