Hi.

I was looking to change my 24, 8 and 6 pin sleeving from black and blue to white.

Would it be easier buying white sleeving and doing it myself or just buying a whole new set?

If I was doing it myself what is a list of stuff I would need?

Thanks

It's easy enough to do but the bits that you need to do it will certainly add up to a bit of outlay. You will need a tool set to remove the plugs from the cables such as this, I have a set of Phanteks tools that you can pick up for a tenner if you shop around. Then you will need the braid, heatshrink and preferably a heat gun for the heatshrink (you can use a lighter but it can melt the insulation on the cable if left in one area too long.

Are these cable extensions or the actual cable set for the psu? If it's cable extensions I would just buy what ones you need as they are pretty cheap. The extension cable bundles that OCUK sell are very reasonable. I have used Bitfenix in the past and am currently using a Phanteks set and both are very good quality. The Phanteks ones and some of the Bitfenix ones even come with cable combs.
