How much of an issue is it?
I've got a 6' fluo in the garage, nothing particularly wrong w/ it except it's very erratic starting - sometimes it's virtually instant, other days it will just flicker forever. A mate suggested replacing it w/ an LED bar, not had time to research it yet so I thought i'd throw it out here in the meantime to see if anyone has any thoughts/tips etc.

I got 3x4400 lumen ones from screwfix recently, I put up a couple as didn't have time to put up the third and just haven't felt the need to put up a 3rd in a double garage. Definitely do the swap.

I have been looking at doing this as well because the kitchen strip light is the only non led light in the house. Currently our kitchen flourescent is a 1200mm long 36w one and to us it feels quite dull but our kitchen is pretty dark anyway. I am looking at replacing the whole thing so a led batten would be the way to go. What would I be looking at to maybe have a brighter led to replace it?
