Hi,

The system I bought came with a ATI card and to my dissapointment, it is wholely unsuitable for some of the 3D applications I use. I should have done the research first! :o

I've bought an NVIDIA to replace the ATI, but before I do anything, does anyone have any suggestions on the best (or cleanest) way to go about it, to avoid issues?

Thanks!

Hi there,

would you be able to provide us a few details of your system?

Specifically, what version of windows are you using and what are the model number of the two graphics cards?

Download drivers for nvidia card to pc
Uninstall ati drivers
Turn off pc
Plug out old card
Plug in new card
Install nvidia drivers

Yup - do what bledd says, windows 7 makes the whole process pretty easy.

Oh, and if you are not gonna use the 5770 - make sure you sell it, you will be able to make a good deal of the GTX 460 money back.
