Replacing GT430

Hi everyone,
I recently purchased the "Titan Krypt" AMD Phenom II X4 850 "95W Edition" 3.30GHz Quad Core DDR3 System and got the GT430 with it.
It seems like a really good card and will run most things with ease. Eve Online is particulary good.

I am however considering upgrading to an even better card, I have a budget of about £200 I want to spend but there are so many different cards that I can't decide or even know which one to go for.

I want the card for games, mainly Eve Online, NWN2 and any thing else that comes out that needs high spec.

So for £200 what should I get? Nvidia/Ati? It's a minefield and I'm in desperate need of help.

Thanks everyone!

In your situation i would suggest a Nvidia GTX 560Ti, they are available well within budget, significantly quicker and should be a simple replacement without causing you any possible driver issues with switching form one company to the other.

Assuming I could stretch my budget to £300 would you still recommend that card or is there another that would easily outpace that one?
I don't really want to spend another £100ish unless I'm getting a top card, I'm thinking diminishing returns?

that one is a good choice with a nice factory overclock and good fan setup, it will be a a nice upgrade.

if i was you i wouldn't spend any more than £200 on a card, a 560Ti is a good card at a reasonable price.

I would get a nice quad core (9 series with level 3 cache) or Hex core CPU to go along with it myself. 1055t would be nice or a black edition that you could overclock without any hastle.

It would help you get the most out of your 560ti (that cache really helps games).

Could you point me in the direction of one on the Overclockers site. There are so many CPU's I'm not sure which ones you're referring to.

6MB of level 3 cache and good OCing potential.

That cache will make a big difference in games when paired with a decent GFX card.
