Basically the stock fans on my H110 are crap, one of the fans makes a rattling noise over 1200rpm. Ive heard the stock fans are not of a good quality anyway so looking to replace them.

Im thinking of Noctua, and something around the same rpm as my stock fans (1500rpm) was looking at these:

Which type do you think would be best?

Ah well thinking about it, the beige NF-A14 Fans have a better static pressure then the stock H110 fans, (1.64mm) NF-A14 (2.08mm) looking at reviews they shift just as much air as the stock fans, better build quality and the price is just right also, and they are quieter by 10db as well.

Guess ive just answered my own question, but still like to come here for a second opinion, im very tempted by the beige NF-A14 as i dont think i need the Industrial version. :)

If you do not mind the beige colour and are not going to need some crazy OC sessions, the NF-A14 beige is more than enough.
P.S. Sometimes a rightly asked question includes the answer as well. :)

Yeah i dont mind it, i wont see them anyway once the side of the case is on. Wont be any mad overclocks going on, quite happy at what im on now.

Thanks for your help :)

Sorry for a bit of a thread hijack jhono but I see you have a 750d and h110 which is exactly the next two things I'm going to be buying! Haha, does the h110 fit easy onto the roof of the case, and also do you have any pictures at all please? Thanks :)

Also, I'd personally go for the corsair sp 140s, I own a corsair sp120 low noise edition it's 100% silent, if your not looking for silent ones they do a high performance one also if you need more cooling. and they do a AF series which is for more airflow best to be used as case fans only not for radiators :)

Hi Iceshock.

Yes the H110 Fits nicely in the ceiling of the 750D, There are screw holes correctly orientated so such a radiator as the H110 can be mounted. Still a decent amount of room to spare also once installed.

Corsair don't do SP140's but I wish they would! Instead ive gone for Noctua NF-A14s which apparently are excellent fans according to reviews and ideal for radiator based coolers such as the H110. And quieter than the stock fans which is a bonus. Il let you guys know how I get on with them once they are fitted.

Btw, message me on trust and il send you a pic of what its like :)

Update on this one,

Got these fans in the radiator now and so far so good, ran Prime for 30 mins and load temps are actually a little lower than what they where with the stock fans which is great! These things do shift some air, ambient temp in the room is decent, so shouldnt have much of an effect also.

Got them hooked up to my Lamptron FC5 V2 fan controller as for some reason i like manual fan control over pwm and software. At max the RPM fluctuates from 1440rpm to 1500. I could just be nit picking here but i dont think thats an issue right?

Cheers
