I have a bit of an issue with the head-lining in my car and it needs to be completely replaced

I have an idea of how I would replace it, but it is probably wrong and will look, well, cack :D

I know where to buy the material from, and have most of the foam from under the old lining, although it is broken and cracked/torn in places.

What sort of prep work do I need to do to the foam?

Also, what glue should I use and what is the best process to get a good finish?

Ah, know nothing about those :( .

I paid a company £90 to replace my headlining in my Capri, took him 2 hours but at the time the car was basically a driveable shell with only a drivers seat & dashboard inside, all the glass & door seals had been removed which made it easy for him.

Not much use i know, but personally i'd pay someone to do it if you are unsure and want it doing well, have a look in the yellow pages & get some quotes from some places.
