Hi.

It's been a while since i posted here, but a while ago, i dropped my laptop (:(). All the inside components are perfectly fine, the cover isnt however. It has a mayor crack at the back, + 1 key has come off. So i was wondering if it was possible to replace just the cover.

The laptop is a Asus A3E serie, ive checked the asus site but was unable to find anything related.

If anyone knows/experienced this, let me know :)

edit :\ : I aint from the uk, and dont know the exact word for "the outside of the laptop, plastic thingys etc lol" so i used cover :\

Best bet is to either phone your local or regional Asus office or (cheaper way) e-mail their customer service (or at least something clos) and see if they can do anything about it.

Are you still under warranty?
Where did you purchase your laptop - because the retailer might be able to do something about it - if still under warranty though.

Thanks for the reply

Might phone them, eventhough i didnt hear too much good about their customer support  .

I bought it from a dodgy internetshop, so i dont think they will be very helpful. It is still under warranty, but i dont think id be able to get it replaced, since the damage is because of me :(
