Replacing Laptop Screen

HI guys,

Has anybody here replaced a laptop screen succesfully at a cost effective price?

I have an old laptop with its screen totally knackered but the system works totally fine with an standalone Monitor.

I would like to know how easy it would be to replace by myself and if not how much it reasonable cost to be fixed/replaced by a pro from your experiences.

Queit a bit of trouble tbh and u need to find the exact screen for your laptop i belive.

oh right, that makes it a trifle difficult then if you can't fit a generic screen.

I might be letting it go for spares/repairs in the future then.
