I tend to downgrade my kit from my own PC to the family one by cycles - unfortunately a leaky watercooler has fried things in the family PC so its all change! Into the family PC goes an Asus P8Z68-V Pro with I5 2500K cpu along with the 6950 I have already put in there on an old Asus A8N-Sli to keep things running whilst I sort things out!

So for my PC I am thinking to go along with my shiny new Sapphire 7950 Vapor-X the following:

Sabretooth Z77
Enermax ETS-T40 cooler (bye-bye water!)
G-Skill Ares 1,600 DDR3 2 x 4GB
I5 3750K

Not quiote sure about the RAM or the CPU - what do you think?

I will only be overclocking through the mobo BIOS - no fancy tweaking for me!

What aspect are you unsure about? What is your rig used for?

Gaming (oh and some boring stuff like emails and word processing! :))

Haven't been keeping an eye on things as I wasn't expecting to upgrade for a year or so! So my uncertainty stems from that.

Linwelin - yep I see you're right its not listed. So as I'll be buying all from OCUk I will need an alternative I guess!

Ok I think this will do the trick:

G.Skill RipJawsX 8GB (2x4GB) DDR3 PC3-12800C8 1600MHz Dual Channel Kit

and add to the aforementioned:

Sabretooth Z77
Enermax ETS-T40 cooler (bye-bye water!)
I5 3750K

Yes?
