replacing mobo

Hi there,

My mobo died on my old machine, I got an exact replacement i.e. same model / make

Am I right in assuming if I install the new mobo I will not have to reinstall windows because technically nothing has changed?

What is the risk element involved that I could get a software error later on? i.e. 60% or less?

Setter:- I was thinking the same however then I began thinking about diff mobo revisions or am I over thinking the situation???
