I currently have the dell S271DG 27" as my main monitor, and an old hdmi monitor that I view my desktop on while gaming.
I usually play games fullscreen windowed on the main monitor with g-sync enabled.
I've noticed when g-sync is enabled there can be a slight flickering on the desktop. This is most noticable if the window I'm playing in isnt full screen. Obviously when I go fullscreen windowed I can't see the desktop.
So my dilemma and question is this. Currently on the old hdmi non g-sync monitor doesnt flicker at all, no matter if the g-sync is in use on the main monitor or not. So I'm wondering if I update the old monitor to a g-sync monitor and play a game in fullscreen windowed on the main monitor, am I going to see this desktop flickering on the new monitor? If that is the case then am I better getting a non g-sync monitor?
