replacing my x1900xtx

i need to free up a pci slot and the easiest way would be to ditch the double slot 1900xtx and get a single slot card, dont want to spend to much so asuming i sell it for £50-60, i could go for a 8800gt, are there any other single slot cards around with similar performance to the GT?

All i can tell you is, I replaced my 1900xtx (toxic) with an 8800gt... best move I've made in ages. It's quieter, faster and smaller. Nuff said!

yeah i think you are right, 8800gt looks my best bang for buck upgrade if i want single slot.

Same upgrade here, 1900XTX to 8800GT. About 2000 more in 3dmark 06, and smoother framerate in games.
