Hey Guys

Was washing my car a few days ago and noticed that the V of 16V on the back of my Astra has been snapped off :(

Looks like someone may have caught it with something as they were walking past and just ripped it clean off.....though kinda confused as to why someone would be walking that close to my car?!?! unless it was done on purpose  eitherway, most annoying!!!

Can these thing's be replaced and if so, from where?? It looks like it's just stuck on with something as the sticky stuff is still on the car

I need one that says Astra 1.6 16V, I think all of that is just one badge but can't remember off hand?? BTW, its a mark 4 model (V reg) incase the newer models are different??

Cheers

main dealer or a local motor factors will have replacement badges. Or debadge the rear completely (quite easy if they are just glued on)

cool stuff, dont really wanna debadge it, i'm not quite chav enough :) lol also i think it looks better with the badges on

lol I actually saw one of them a few days ago, the actual turbo badge looked far FAR too shiney, almost chrome like compared to the rest of it. just had to laugh and make fun of it :)

Debadging is chav now? Lol, is there anything that isn't branded chav

We debadged Kate's 200SX because wax and polish get caught in all the gaps between the lettering and make it look rubbish.

Personally I don't think debadging a car is chav.

Sticking a turbo badge on a 1.2 na motor, or sticking those none standard badges you can get from halfords and the like however.

well, a lot of chav's around here tend to de-badge their cars, seems to be the norm for them. so i guess i just see debadging as a chav thing to do now
