Hey,

I have an alienware from about 3 years ago and the PSU died so I bought the corsair HX850, however it's a lot smaller than the one that came with the computer.

The case has a little shelf running along the side which the old PSU sat on, and another shelf opposite it, to hold the other side up, just at the back though.

the new PSU doesnt reach this, (it's about 1 CM too short) and is curentlly being help in place by 3 screws which hold it's entire wieght.

the PSU is on the top of the case so if it falls it will land on everything else

what can I safely use to bride the gap between the little shelf and the CPU? (Would blu -tac work)
