I've had my bonus and pay rise which has been backdated and I'd like to replace my soundbar with a nicer stereo for better quality audio.

I'm looking at the following:
  • 2 floor standing speakers
  • AMP which has DAB
  • Sub - but not essential

I've been browsing rainforest and found the following:

  • Pioneer SX-20DAB-K Stereo Receiver with Phono Input, DAB/DAB+ and FM Tuner
  • Yamaha NSF51 Floorstanding Speakers
  • Canton 03297 8.2 Subwoofer

The woofer isn't essential as the reviews for the speakers say they produce decent base tones which is great.

If you have £400-450, what you consider? Any changes to the above?

Am i missing something here, this is to replace a soundbar ? Are you using the soundbar with your TV ?

Yes, currently have a soundbar on my TV. Ideally I'd like to build up to a 5.1 but i don't have the space at the moment so settling for 2 floor standing speakers to start with...
