Hi,

I've got a budget of around £200.

My WiFi hasn't been great for my 3 nest security cameras and doorbell.

I've got 3 ethernet cables running through my house. I'm going to use the ethernet cable in my conservatory and make a AP using a tp link 300mb N router I have lying around for my security camera at the back of the house which struggles for signal.

IllonI'll then convert my virgin sh3 into modem mode and buy a night hawk ac2600 ~ £170.

Is this the best router and AP I can do for my money?

If the issue is poor Wi-fi, why is your answer to upgrade the router? Decent hardwired AP’s are cheaper and much more likely to give a better end result than another AIO router installed in what’s likely not an optimal location.
