My current case fan is really noisy and quite old, so im looking to replace it with something better and quieter.

The current one is 92mm in size and i was wondering if a 120mm would fit in my case?

If not then what is the best 92mm to get?

The Akasa AK-184-L2B Amber Ultra Quiet 92mm Fan - 3 pin or the Zalman ZM-F2 92mm Silent Case Fan - 3 Pin?

Thanks

I kept the Original case from my old PC. Its a Compaq Presario, here's a pic of it.

The Sharkoon fan looks quite good might get that.

Since the fan is going on the back of the case, can anyone tell me which way the new one should be mounted?
Im not sure if it should be sucking the air out or the case or sucking air in from outside the case.

The current case fan that im replacing was mounted so that it sucked air in the case.

Also the fans dont have anything on them to say which way they should be mounted as you can use for Exhaust or intake. only thing to do is fin out which way the blades turn, if you are good you can tell by the pitch of the blades, however easyest way is to turn it on, you will feel one sides call whilst the other has air blowing through.

If its for exhaust you obviously want the air to be blowing out the case

I just got Zalman 92mm Case fan and have to admit i like them. 3 in my case have reduced temps by about 10c allround
