Replacing Thermaltake Armour fans

Has anyone replaced the fans in there thermaltake armour, im wondering if the front intake is replaceable and how hard is it to actually replace, reason im replacing as the stock fans don't want to work with a fan controller, and dont work without the Molex plug :( .
 
Hmm good question.

I dont see why not, as its just screwed into the HD cage.

Im currently looking at replacing mine, I've added a second fan at the front and now think its a little too loud, so i want to replace them all with some decent 'silent' fans.

Can anyone recommend any?

I've swapped my front fan out loads of times in my Kandalf. Only problem I encountered was my graphics card (7800gt) needs to be taken out and if it isn't taken out straight a couple of RAM dimms out. All bigger problems when you have water cooling. :rolleyes:
 
i replaced my front fan with an akasa 120mm fan was really easy :) just used the rubber pin things i think or maybe it clipped back in not sure :p
