Replacment battery for my Canon 600d

Hey guys,

Currently thinking about buying a second battery for my trip to New York in a few weeks.

I checked the price of the genuine Canon battery's and couldn't find one cheaper than £43 inc P&P..... which being a tight arse, couldn't bring myself round to clicking 'Add to basket'

So my question is, are there non gen' battery's that are just as good as OEM?

I've had a look on the bay of e and I've seen lots of cheap battery's for like £5.... but I'm unsure :-/

Just ordered a energizer battery, lens Hood, uv filter and new memory card in prep for my trip. cheers guys :-)

OK mate, only going to use it as a back up battery. Don't think I'll be rinsing two battery's per day.... well, I'm sure the Mrs will have something to say if I do Haha!
