I am having to send back my Sapphire 7970 Ghz Edition due to coil whine and constant BSOD's

What would you guys suggest for a replacement?

Maybe a GTX 770?

Thanks

Iv'e always had ATI for performance/price reasons. however iv'e also had issues with every ATI card. some minor, some major.

Certainly willing to give Nvidia a try now.

To be honest, this is why i stick with Nvidia. Every AMD/ATI card i have ever had gave me some sort of headache or problem. Never had an issue with any of the Nvidia cards i have owned.

I am sure one day i will get burned by Nvidia though and then i will give AMD another try to redeem themselves :p

and now with the release of the GTX 770 you can go Nvidia for the same price performance anyway so not an issue.

yup. set my heart on a 770. just wish I had a little more for the 780.

I see they do a 2GB & 4GB 770.

Should I go for the 4GB as I will be running Nvidia Surround @ 1080p?
