Replica alloys + avon tyres??

is this asking for trouble?

my wife has just lost one rear tyre and I think the alloy may have cracked again so I am thinking about replacing all 4 alloys and tyres.

I wold never normally consider replica alloys however the OEM BMW alloys seem to be made of glass.

I can put a set of Avons on for 450 or 800 for goodyear F1's. I would normally just got with the F1's but doing a quick google came up with some decent reviews on the Avon's.

ok so what about fake wheels with Goodyear Eagle F1? Could they really be worse than BMW's own wheels that keep cracking

I bent an OZ Superleggera on my Forester in Cyprus, and they have some crap roads... It didn't crack though.

I can deal with that on a 4kg wheel, but not a standard alloy, that is just poor metallurgy.

Clearly Fake wheels may be better than real wheels.
