Replicate iPhone HomeScreen Config to iPad

Afternoon all,

I've currently got an iPhone 4, and have just bought an iPad 4.

I've got my iPhone apps organized the way I like them, and would like to replicate this on my new iPad.

I've backed up my iPhone, and restored that config to my iPad, and while this has copied across all the apps, the homescreen layout is completely different to my iPhone. I've Googled without success, & can't find a way of replicating my iPhone HomeScreen Config to my iPad.

Can this be done?

Hmmm, sounds like more effort than it's worth...

Appreciate the input, but I think I'll just make the changes manually if it's not just something simple that I'm missing / will update across all devices automatically...

Yeah, I can appreciate the usefulness it might have for a select few users, but I doubt most people have exactly the same apps installed on each device so it's not going to be a priority feature for them

Aye, it was only today that I realised that there are iPad versions of the same app, which changes things somewhat, but effectively I wanted to know where everything was on my iPad, because it was in the same place on my iPhone.

With a few exceptions, I'm mostly there now, I just had to do it manually instead...

Why can't you just arrange them on the ipad the way you have done on your iphone? or you cba?

I have done now, I was just trying to figure out if I could synchronise the home screen between devices, both initially, and on an ongoing automated basis...
