Reports in word, numbering help!

Just doing my final year dissiertation report (computer science course, so i am ashamed of asking this!!)

The page numbering must be specific, the first 4 pages must me in roman numerals, not including the title page. And the rest should be in normal numeric figures.

How do i make word "skip" the numbering of the title page? And make the second page of the report (the abstract) start from roman numeral i?

then how would i then change from roman numerals to then normal numbers after the contents page?

Its so hard

Have a look at Sections - they allow you to number things independently (along with other things)

Sections? just having a look, it not in the page numbering bit?

Which section is it in under the toolbars?
