Reposting H100 cooler question

I posted this in the watercooling forum, but It seems traffic is pretty slow over there. Hoping some enlightened souls will see it here!

I'm speccing up a new build which I'd like to include a Corsair H100 CPU cooler in. I've read that fitting it can be problematic even in some cases which you'd think there would be no problem. Is anybody using one with a particular case? Or could you recommend me a case which will be suitable?

the Carbide 500R is designed to fit the H100. Not sure about dual fan though.

It should fit a CM-690 II but push/pull is out the window
