req: cheap 2gig reccomendation?

heya

i'm building a new rig for a few upcoming LANs, and i'm set on getting 2gigs..
has anyone any reccomendations for cheap ram that would do 1T?
at the moment i have 2x512 sticks of geil value 4000 @2.5-3-3-10 1T, and i would like something similarly cheap/reasonably tight timings, but 2x1024

or Ocuk value, it'll do 2.5-3-3-6

however this is the 1gb kit

They'll use different ICs in the 2gb kits, but I seem to remember someone having them at similar timings.

I went for the 2gig of Geil and have never looked back. Great ram at great prices.
I play lots of BF2 and have had No problems at all with it. It even looks good aswell with its little blue heat sinks on. :cool:

But i'm sure runnig @ 1T (regardless of timings) will not be an issue?

thanks for the replys guys

i'll prob stick with the geil value.. i'm chuffed with the cheapo 1gig set i have now, so i'll just grab the 2x1gig.. tho will it manage to pull 1T at 2.5-4-4?
i'm not really bothered about having my timings any tighter, as i'd prefer CPC

All the sets I've seen have done 2.5-3-3-7 1T (CPC on)

At only £140, why not check out the mushkin blue 3200 (5,2,3,2.0) 1t.

At that price it might as well be value ram.
