Just curious if any 9900K owner who also owns Destiny 2 could do me a massive favour ?

Go ingame, Set resolution to 1080P, Graphics settings to the preset of "Lowest", Enable ingame FPS meter in the Gameplay tab, Spawn into Trostland and report back your FPS while just standing there.

Reason I ask is I'm considering getting a 9900K for it's better single core performance over my Ryzen 2700X for my 1080P 240Hz monitor.

May as well wait for Ryzen 2 see what that's like.

I'm getting the top end Ryzen 3 chip that's coming out to replace my 2700X but I'm also building a 2nd rig that is purely for 1080P high refresh rate gaming and while there is very little difference between Intel and AMD at 1440P, 1080P is a different story and to be honest I don't think it will change that much with Zen 2.

Possibly intel still king at low Res yeah, would still wait personally then if Amd still not cutting it can go intel. :)

I already switched from 2700x to 9900k, because demonbuddy runs more smoothly on Intel, and Ryzen 4GHz is as laggy/choppy as Intel 3.3GHz. Predicting that Ryzen 3700x will have little chance to beat 9900k for that dead game, I made the jump.

145fps no OC on the CPU, no OC on the GPU (1080Ti).
My install is a bit janky tho so I'm going to reinstall windows and I'll do it again after that. I've been having issues with the OS that is affecting other games so it may be affecting D2, but I don't play it anymore so I'm not sure.

No change. This is on an asus motherboard at stock so it isnt boosting all cores to 5ghz or anything like that. It is runnung at Intel specified boost settings which limit it to 95w I believe.
