Request for Graphics Card Roadmap 2014/15

So would AMD and NVidia.:p:D

Gave me a chuckle :)

I would dearly love to know nVidia's roadmap for 2014, since I want a new GPU for June, but right now I know more about Pascal than Maxwell. Their recent event had plenty of self driving cars, professional rendering stations, a bit about Titan Z, and a conspicuous lack of info about the 8xx desktop series. Have to assume those swedish blokes are right and the silence means manufacturing problems and delays :/

Die shrink early 2015 i think, but nothing much of any interest until then (apart from maybe the dual GPU cards)

Such pessimism in this thread. Wish I didn't share it - was really hoping for some 20nm options around summer, but got a feeling I'll be choosing from one 2-year-old option or another.

Well I read a while back that Nvidia were due to start releasing the 8xx cards this month based on Maxwell? They then released the 750 and 8xxM cards but no sight of the bigguns... Then they talked about releasing dual 780 (790 I guess?), and 780ti with 6GB (thought that was a titan black), and Titan Z? So i'm seriously confused about what their intentions are...

AMD have made similar gestures but no releases as of yet.....

would 2 780's beat the supposed 790 coming out? I was thinking of waiting until the next cards come out and then ebaying my 780 for 2 x 780ti's with 6GB (if they materialize). not sure yet what to do, all I know is that I currently game at 2560x1440 and my 780 struggles to keep the frame rates smooth in BF4....
