Request for help in finding a new mast for the girlfriend's boat after some little ******* stole it

I'm hoping someone in this subforum can help as my girlfriend is somewhat dismayed at some thieving scumbags stealing the masts from hers and four other members boats at the sailing club she is a member. The theft happened on Friday night where the thieves kicked in part of the fence and then proceeded to remove the masts from five boats. In doing so they cut all of the rigging to pieces and in one case defaced one of the member's boat as well as taking the mast from it. This member is dying of terminal cancer and the boat was part of his way of dealing with that condition in doing the things in life he had not had a chance to do. The best guess is the thieves were after the masts as they were metal and would sell them for scrap.

Was wondering if anyone on here knew where to obtain a mast and boom for a mk3 gull, and bermuda rigging. Or in general where to obtain masts from to pass on to the members who had their masts stolen.

Stealing a mast, wow, that's the first time I've heard of that happening.

I would love to be able to help you out here but we only deal with cruisers and power boats. That said, I will ask around.

I hope you have luck finding one and getting it sorted soon.
