Hi Guy's,

Need some expert advice from gamers please.
I have a budget of around £600 to upgrade an existing PC that is quite old.

I already have a coolermaster case which will hopefully fit.
Windows OS not required

Thank you mickyflinn

I'll definitely look at the bundle you suggested.

What's your view on the video card for the money, is there any better for the same price that you can recommend?

Once again, thank you for your advice.

If I was to copy the exact same system, what would I need to get?
1- case
2- thermal paste
3- CPU fan
4- HDD
5- ???

yes that is correct.

I have purchased the following cooler:
Cooler Master Hyper 212 Evo CPU Cooler
HS-035-CM

I believe it comes with paste

You are correct bar the cooler above, you would need the following assuming you have no system in place:

1- case
2- HDD
3- CD/DVD drive
4- OS
5- Keyboard, Mouse
6- Monitor

I have a keyboard, mouse and monitor but had indeed forgotten about OS & CD drive! Cheers. Will need to check whether CPU cooler comes with paste apparently too. Thanks.

OS you can get cheaper shopping about.........Dont bother with the cd drive unless you need it. I've been without for 2+ years now.

I can confirm the CPU cooler comes with the paste.
Some reviews state its tricky to fit, but found it relatively straight forward.
There are videos on YouTube that outline the entire process.
The machine spun up and so far I am very impressed with how well it runs and how quiet it is.
