Ok i have had a play with eyefinity and it was ok. However I purchased an Nvidia GTX580 only to realise that unless you go SLI you cannot use 3 monitors (DOH). Anyway to tell you the truth eyefinity is great but not as great as I thought and Ive heard some not so great things about lagging on 3 screens with SLI so instead I have decided to sell the 3 screens and purchase one of the following:

- a Decent 24" 3D monitor
- a 30" monitor

What do you guys think I should do and do you think 30" 3d monitors will be released soon should I decide to wait a bit?

Cheers in advanced,

Powda

A number of 3D monitors are set to be released in the near future from the likes of Samsung and Acer. These include some 27 inch models but don't hold your breath for 30 inches. Either way, given various limitations you are unlikely to see the resolution exceed 1920 x 1080 - so 27 inches is probably as big as you'd want it to be if you're sitting reasonably close. If you are sure that you are going to enjoy and continue to enjoy the 3D experience I would certainly wait for the 27 inch version. It really fills your field of vision up better and a major criticism of 3D monitors in the past has been that the experience just isn't immersive enough on the 'small screen'. Have you had a look at Samsung's upcoming 'SA' monitors? They are worth waiting for just for the looks I'd say. ;)

I did follow your link and take a gander and yes they definately look the business. My problem is impatience!!! I like the idea of a great 30" colossus monitor taking up half my room and giving me bug eyes for some reason (LOL)...
