A problem that has been affecting me for days now due to a firmware update by sky could be solved if someone has a copy of the recovery cd provided by Sky for the Sagecom F@ST2504n router.

If anyone has this disk, could they please, please, please, upload the recovery folder from the disk.

Thanks!!!

How did you get on flashing back to an older version. Mine just said it couldn't detect the router.

At first it couldn't detect the router because by default our routers are set for 192.168.0.1

However the disk is looking for the router on 192.168.1.1, you have to change it to this before running the recovery tool.

Do the following:

go to your router GUI > Advanced > LAN Setup > LAN TCP/IP Address (change from 192.168.0.1) > 192.168.1.1

It will reset and take 2 mins to come back up. Now try running the recovery tool again.

The recovery tool might fail (it did for me) and it will change your IP address to a manual address (192.168.1.20) Go to adapter settings (TCP/IP v4) and change it back to auto. This will get you back on the internet if it fails.
