My friend is looking to build a PC mostly to be used for gaming and asked for my input. This is the build I was thinking of (budget is right around £850~900). If anyone has a suggestion of a component that is out of place or should be reconsidered, please let me know.

For CPU cooler Cryorig H7 is very good for £27.

Mobo could be changed to one with better cooled VRM for better upgrade path.

@EsaT if going better VRM- then MSI Carbon b450- VRM arranged differently along with more chocks as hi and low side aren't doubled up - plus you get the wifi

@Zarathuztra intel has lead with 1080p gaming but RX 5700XT is a more powerful GPU so gains more FPS to start with etc
