Requesting help/advice on an upgrade

In theory it should be fine and usually if there is a problem you can set the RAM to slightly looser timings such as 9-9-9-24 or run the RAM at 1333MHZ to remedy it. AFAIK,the Phenom II and Athlon II processors work with both low voltage and high voltage RAM.

Should that be needed, how would i go about changing the settings? Is it in the BIOS? :confused:

Would the mobo automatically adjust to the most balanced settings itself?

If you need to change the settings manually you go into the BIOS. Anyway it is most likely the RAM will work fine out of the box.
