Anyone know a rough estimate cost to reroute a gas pipe in 2 places?

1. Pipe enters property and goes along centre of wall approx 1.5m length and then up into ceiling. Want it to enter property and go up corner of wall and along ceiling and then up into ceiling.

2. Where pipe comes up through ceiling into upstairs floor, it goes along bottom of wall about 1.5m length then up wall into ceiling/loft. Want it to come up through upstairs floor and continue directly up wall into loft.

I don't know what planet the gas fitters where on who originally installed the pipework. Pipe is a phat copper pipe.

Sounds like the 22mm copper gas pipe from the meter.

Copper wise you probably looking at £80-120 depending on the run. Then elbows, t pieces, etc which will be about another tenner.

Labour wise, couple of hours for a good plumber/CH engineer with an SDS drill. You might need some floorboards up depending on the run too.

Source: just done similar moving the boiler to the loft.

It's after the meter. Boiler is actually in the back bedroom airing cupboard but the gas pipe goes up to the loft then along to the back of the house then down into the airing cupboard.

It couldn't just go up the outside wall as there is a flat roof extension in the way otherwise that would have been ideal. Also I wouldn't think all the pipe needs replacing, just the sections I want rerouting.

I had this done, moved gas pipework from one side of the kitchen to the other, had to go through the ceiling which luckily id fetched down, I had quite a few meters worth of 22mm pipe and took the plumber about half a day. Cost me £200
