Hi there ive just purchased a hanns g monitor but the screen is 21.6" not a true 22", the picture looks as if its slightly squashed from each side when set to 1680x1050, what i would like to know is if there is a better custom res i can use to get a better quality and what software to use to do so?

Exactly what model monitor is it?
Its ok now, native is 1680x1050, threw me a little off guard as i had to install the monitor driver disc to sort it out but its done the job. Never ever had to install drivers for a monitor before, unless it has something to do with that certified for vista stuff.
Not a bad monitor, not the best in the world by a long shot but it wasnt exactly the most expensive either so im cool with that.
