Ok, ive been searching through the web for about 2 hours now just to find what the difference between DDC pumps and D5 pumps... All I want is short concise answer that MAKE SENSE!!!

Oh yeah, one last thing... Is this pump/res combo gunna be suitable for for a two block loop (i5 2500k and Gainward GTX 570 Phantom to be more specific).

As a rough guide:-

Both similar pump performance (at least the 18W version of the DDC, you also get a 10W DDC) with aftermarket tops
D5 has 5 speed settings, though some models of DDC now come with PWM control
DDC is smaller
D5 is normally quieter, especially on lower speed settings

And don't like to competitor shops!

Edit: You won't need dual pumps.

The first one isn't a terribly good product, personally I'd avoid for a d5.

However be aware that bay res with pumps make a lot more noise than properly isolated pumps, if at all possible suspend your pump on some pipe to completely isolate it.

So which of the options that i have up there would you recommend?

Aftermarkter tops are ones you get from the likes of EK or XSPC to replace the ones you get with the original pump. Personally I would recommend an aftermarket top for the D5 and the DDC as it'll give you G1/4 threads for fittings of your choice.

Personally I would just get a D5 + top if you have the space for it, it'll cover all your future watercooling needs. Use a separate res or even just a t line for filling.

they are fairly quiet yes.

each D5 has variable speed so you can tune it to suit your requirements.
a D5 on setting 2/3 will have enough flow rate to manage even the most complicated watercooing systems so you can run them low with ease.

Agreed - my D5 is nice and quiet, but also plenty powerful enough - mine is fitted into a Dangerden dual bay res.I have no complaints - v happy.
