Hello

I'm looking at building a Res & Pump combo, which looks like this:

http://www.ekwb.com/shop/reservoirs-and-acc/res-pump-combo/ek-d5/ek-xres-100-d5-vario-incl-pump.html

The only issue is, I want the X3 250:

http://www.ekwb.com/shop/reservoirs-and-acc/reservoirs/ek-res-x3-series/ek-res-x3-250.html

Is it possible to buy the pump part separately and combine the two, or do I have to buy the item on the first link and simply switch the res element out with the larger item on the second link? Obviously the latter would be more expensive and would result in an unused res.

Thanks for your help.

Matthew

You can buy the Pump/res combo as posted above and then you buy a 250 version of this toohttps://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=wc-836-ek its not stocked by ocuk it seems

then all you do is unscrew and replace the tube on the pump/res combo.

the only issue with that tube is that it is too long. i was hoping for a 250. would it not be possible to buy the item from the second link and use that? costs more money, but if that's what it takes haha

i also found this on ek's site:

http://www.ekwb.com/shop/pumps-and-...series/ek-xtop-dual-d5-xres-upgrade-link.html

It says it is for a dual pump but could it not work on a single?

Oh apologies, I didn't realise the manufacturer would count as a competitor aha

But thanks for your help. I now understand the best solution :)

I will contact OCUK and see if they can get the components needed in stock :)
