Not really sure if I should put this in here on in monitors but ah well :D

Let's assume I have 3x monitors set up as 5760x1080, and I also have a separate machine with a single 2560x1440.

Both systems are running 60fps, and both have a pixel count of around 6.1mp.

will using the multiple monitors cause an fps drop? or will they both see roughly the same?

With every extra monitor there will be slightly more load on the GPU because it's displaying to more than the normal amount afaik.

that's where my query came from, the pixel count is roughly the same, I was wondering if there is any fps loss from using more than one monitor :)

5760*1080 = 6220800 pixels
2560*1440 = 3686400 pixels

Unless I'm missing something both don't even have near the same amount of pixels :p.

In theory, I suspect there shouldn't be, but it may be more reliant on the game if it likes displaying the extra wide resolution or not.
